Daniel Stern is a former talk show host, a retired competitive eater, a screenwriter and a standup comedian. Stern sews absurd observations together with threads of unhinged wit; his performances are a frayed quilt of hilarious anarchy, earnest confessions and stories about riding the bus. Stern writes and performs sketch comedy. He hosts stand up, burlesque, film nights and awards shows. Daniel podcasts with Radio Spaetkauf and is a part of the Mobile Kino traveling cinema team. Stern once took last place behind three children in an NBA Summer League half time dance-off.

Tim Whelan (UK)
Tim has carved out a niche for himself on the Berlin comedy scene with an act encompassing accents, impressions and comedy songs. Keen observations, kindly German-jostling, bad puns and nerdish monologues rub shoulders in his set. He first came to prominence on the Berlin scene as songwriter and keyboard player for short-lived Emo project “Cryspace,” the brainchild of Sean Hunter Williams. Tonight he’s returning to his roots with a music comedy set. Tim has hosted over 200 shows in Berlin and beyond, most at the legendary Buzz Club. Regularly performing in German and English, he recently tried comedy in Spanglish in the fever-pitch atmosphere of “Relachen” at Urban Spree. A serial barbershop quartet addict, in his other day-job Tim sings in operas. This year alone he has sung in 8 productions. Regularly touring in Germany, Tim has performed standup in France, Belgium, Holland, Finland and Estonia as well as at the Utrecht Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.
